Pegler XPress SSG61 Gas Stainless Steel Stop End 15mm to 54mm

The Pegler XPress 316 Stainless Steel Gas Stop End, maker code SSG61, is a stop end with a single press socket for the XPress Stainless Gas press fit system. Press it on to close off the end of a stainless gas pipe, for a capped spur or a future connection. Common Questions

Can I take the SSG61 stop end off later? No. Once pressed it is permanent. Cut the pipe behind it if you need to extend the run later.

Is this 304 or 316 stainless steel? 316. Pegler make XPress Stainless Gas fittings in 316L stainless steel (1.4404).

How can I tell a gas fitting from a water one? The gas fittings have a yellow O-ring and yellow marking on the body. Never put a water fitting with a black EPDM ring on a gas line.

Is XPress Stainless Gas approved for gas? Yes. Pegler list it for natural gas at up to 5 bar, with the BSI Kitemark among its approvals. All gas work must be done and tested by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
