Why are the reducer sizes written with three figures?

They are listed the same way as reduced tees, which is unusual for a reducer. Check the Geberit code with us so you get the right fitting.

Does a reducer press onto pipe at both ends?

No. Geberit’s stainless reducer has one pressing socket and one plain spigot, and the spigot slides into another fitting where it gets pressed. Check which end suits your layout before cutting the pipe.

Is it suitable for drinking water?
