Solder Ring One End Reduced Tee

The Solder Ring One End Reduced Tee is a copper Solder Ring tee with one end reduced, available in 22mm to 54mm. Solder is built into the fitting, so the joint is made by cleaning, fluxing and heating, with no extra solder needed.

The Solder Ring One End Reduced Tee joins a smaller pipe on one end of the run, with the other end and the 90 degree branch at the larger size.

The Solder Ring One End Reduced Tee is a copper capillary tee with solder already loaded in each socket, handy where space is tight and you want a neat joint without feeding solder wire.

Clean the pipe end and the inside of the socket until bright, brush on flux, push the pipe fully home and heat the fitting until a bright ring of solder shows all round the mouth. Let the joint cool on its own rather than cooling it with water. The solder in these fittings is lead-free.

This is a simple and cost-effective method of joining copper tubes to standard EN 1057.
Suitable for use above ground and on hot or cold domestic and commercial systems
